          The Baitei Youth Association BYA warmly invites you to join them in celebrating its Annual General Assembly AGA, slated for 30th December 2008 at GS Etwii hall, starting at 6:30 AM prompt.


Highlights for this year’s assembly includes: Cross Country race, football matches (men/Women) traditional dances and lots of other educative presentations which will give you a real taste and flavor of our association.


Speakers will include; the Assistant Mayor of Andek Rural Council and many other high profile individuals who are still to be confirm.


This year's assembly will focus on raising funds for the construction of an ultra modern information centre and the Education for all projects which started this year.


While looking forward to see you, your moral and financial support to enable us achieve these projects will be highly appreciated

Baitei Youth Association - BYA



The Baitei Youth Association (BYA) is a charitable youth organization based in Baitei Etwii Ngie Cameroon. It was founded to empower youth through human rights and sustainable development education and to make opportunities more accessible to the Baitei community. For the past seven years of its existence, BYA has provided opportunities to Baitei youth in area of education, HIV/AIDS awareness and is now embark on yet one of its biggest project of building ultra modern information center in Baitei.

The association is the proud sponsor of First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) and Common Entrance examination fee for Baitei pupil at Government School Etwii.

The association’s goal is to build a more vibrant community that can easily get access to both formal and informal education, develop programs aim at alleviating poverty (infrastructure development and income creation programs), and promote HIV/AIDS preventive measures. 

The organization is run by an elected executive Board. Weekly branch meetings managed by branch presidents takes place in Bamenda, Yaound, and Buea. The executive is backed by a large group of patrons whose support has been so crucial to our success.

BYA organizes Annual General Assembly (AGA) every calendar year to evaluate of its activities with eyes set on the future programs.

There is a standing monitoring and evaluation committee composed of representatives from the community and executive board to monitor and evaluate the use of money, time and quality.

During the implementation of any project, the committee has responsibility to ensure the project follows the implementation procedures and problems identified through monitoring and evaluations are properly addressed in a timely fashion.
